How much can happen in so little time?

In just a short amount of time, you can reap the benefits of neurotransmitters that help reduce stress hormones, lower blood pressure, and act within the brain to help it process information and feelings, in turn helping us feel more calm, trusting, and content.

If you’re feeling romantic- a six second kiss can fit into your day at any point- it’s long enough to be exciting yet short enough to leave you hanging. While twenty second hug can be shared with anyone, perhaps a good friend or family member, to bring you feelings of safety and reassurance among any stress.

Not to mention that both can serve as a good sample to set for children- that’s one of the many reasons why Sadie Lincoln, founder and CEO of barre3, says that she shares a twenty second hug with her husband every single morning.
